GUEST: It's been in the family since he was new.
APPRAISER: He's a very unusual Steiff.
He still has his tag here with the remnants of the original red stock tag, which is from the 1930s.
GUEST: Oh.
APPRAISER: But what makes this guy so unusual is, he has a very unusual mechanism in his tail that makes his head move.
GUEST: Yeah.
APPRAISER: He has a retail value of $1,500 to $1,800.
GUEST: Ooh!
That's very nice.
Makes me pleased, my kids will be pleased.
APPRAISER (chuckles): It'’’s great.
