Highlights from Movies for Grownups 2023

Hello grownups!

This is what 63 looks like, baby.

Come on.

I love Movies for Grownups because AARP reminds people how potent, how many people over 50 are so powerful in our industry.

It is so nice to be back where we belong - in a fancy ballroom in Beverly Hills.

I'm privileged to be included among this extraordinary group of you actors, creators.

Being a part of this film has been a life-changing experience for me and to consider Baz a mentor and a friend is my true honor.

Baz, get on up here.

I had to run up just to show you that I can in fact be youthful.

Baz Luhrmann, I am ready for my close up <laugh>.

I can only hope I will be just as resilient and dare I say sexy as Michelle Yeoh when I grow up.

I have been making movies for 40 years, but never had I seen anything so original that would give me the opportunity to show everything I'm capable of.

I know life doesn't begin at 50, but it can yield renewal and reward beyond our wildest dreams.

I'm proof of that as are so many of the people in this room.

Grownups suit up and show up each day regardless of the way our cards were dealt.

To all these young actors, wait about 60 years and you can get one of these.
