TARIQ's CUBE is the journey of a young Muslim American as he qualifies and competes at national Rubik cubing competitions. Filmed over several years, Tariq's life is full of ups and downs, successes and tragedy - experiences that challenge him to discover who he is and what he wants to do. The path to adulthood is further complicated as he navigates what it is like to be a Muslim in America today.
